Okanagan Food & Wine Writers Workshop 2010: Recap #1

I'm always impressed and grateful for the enthusiastic attendees and guest instructors who come out to my Okanagan Food & Wine Writers Workshop. We just wrapped our annual 2 1/2-day eating, drinking, learning and touring extravaganza. I'll let the photos speak for themselves. Here is a slideshow from our first event, a dinner by Cam Smith and Dana Ewart of Joy Road Catering. We dined under the stars on the bluffs overlooking Skaha Lake.

It was truly one of those "aha" moments Jen, when we step back and really appreciate all that we have here in the Okanagan. It was wonderful to share and learn many new things with all of the other attendees. Thank you so much for months of planning and dedicatyion to the art of food and wine.

I wasn't there, but wanted to be. I heard how fantastic year one was. Now I have heard how fantastic year two was. I followed it on twitter... and know I have missed out, but I teach. It is so wonderful that you are doing this. Hopefully, next year. I think I feel retirement in the air.
